26 Mar 2026

From March 12 to 14, 2026, negg® Group participated in the first edition of the BEDEX – Brussels European Defence Exhibition & Conference 2026, held at Brussels Expo. The company took part as a member of the Italian Pavilion, promoted and organized by the Italian Trade Agency in Brussels.

The official inauguration of the Italian Pavilion represented a particularly significant moment, marked by the ribbon-cutting ceremony led by Federica Favi, Ambassador of Italy to Belgium, alongside Tindaro Paganini, Director of the Italian Trade Agency for the Benelux, and Adriano Graziani. Their presence highlighted Italy’s strong commitment to international cooperation, innovation, and the promotion of national excellence in the defense and security sector.

The opening of BEDEX 2026 also welcomed prominent institutional figures, including Mark Rutte, Secretary General of NATO, Bart De Wever, Prime Minister of Belgium, and Theo Francken. Their participation underscored the strategic importance of strengthening defence collaboration at a European and international level.

As part of the Italian Pavilion, negg® Group joined a delegation of leading Italian companies showcasing advanced technologies and solutions across defense, security, and aerospace. The exhibition brought together over 200 companies from more than 25 countries, offering a unique platform for dialogue between industry leaders, institutional stakeholders, and international delegations.

During the three-day event, the agenda featured B2B and B2G matchmaking sessions on March 12 and 13, followed by a dedicated focus on dual-use solutions on March 14. These moments enabled negg® Group had the opportunity to meet Andrea Orizio, Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the Political and Security Committee of the European Union, as well as Theo Francken, Belgian Minister of Defence and Foreign Trade, further strengthening our dialogue with key institutional stakeholders in the European defense and security landscape.

The first day of the exhibition proved particularly productive, with high-level institutional visits further reinforcing the global relevance of Italian technological innovation within the international security framework.

negg® Group is proud to have contributed to showcasing the excellence of Made in Italy at the heart of Europe’s decision-making ecosystem and firmly believes that events like BEDEX are essential to fostering collaboration, innovation, and a more integrated global security landscape.

We extend our sincere thanks to the Italian Trade Agency for the opportunity and for promoting the Italian Pavilion, creating a valuable space for exchange, partnership, and international growth.
